Benedictine Academy Sports Awards Night

There is a common thread woven through the lives of Ariana Taveras, Andrea Mendoza and Dinh Do. All three young women, who recently graduated from Benedictine Academy (BA) in Elizabeth, have proven to be exceptional when it comes to academics, giftedness and personal accomplishment.

St. Mary of the Assumption High School, Elizabeth, held its 82nd commencement ceremony on Friday, June 1. Diplomas were awarded to 69 students by Msgr. Robert Harrington, Pastor, and Ms. Janet Malko, Principal. St. Mary of the Assumption Church was the setting for the Baccalaureate Mass in the morning, as well as for the graduation ceremony Friday evening. Class Night was held on Tuesday, May 29, at The Westwood, Garwood.
