Mayor Bollwage won 4 to 1 in Elizabeth

Elizabeth, NJ- Mayor Chris Bollwage and his team received 8,279 votes and Oscar Ocasio and his Team received 2,547 votes, according to unofficial results released Tuesday night by Council-Woman Patricia Perkins.

Bollwage:                 8,279
Grova :                    6,541
Auguste:                  6,421
Cuesta :                   6,547

Ocasio:                     2,547
Mazza:                      2,343
Anacius:                   2,106

The victory party was at Dolce restaurant and over five hundred people showed up.

Senate Approves Bill To Expand NJ Drug Court Program

A bill sponsored by Union County state Senators Raymond J. Lesniak and Nicholas P. Scutari which would expand eligibility for the State’s drug court substance abuse treatment program and create a pilot program in two counties in which any offender who’s eligible would be automatically enrolled in a drug treatment program was approved by the Senate Thursday by a vote of 33-2.
