Elizabeth, NJ- An unusual car accident took place this early afternoon at 1:45 PM at Dayton St and Murray St in Elizabeth.
A woman driving a 4 doors silver Nissan Rouge hit a dark green Honda sedan 4 doors parked on the right side of Dayton St. As a result of the impact, the Honda car ended up in the front yard of a house at the other side of Dayton St.
The shot was so perfect that the Honda went through in between a tree and another car parked on the other side of the street.
According to an Elizabeth police officer present at the scene of the accident, the driver of the Nissan car did not stop at the stop sign at Murray St and most likely she pressed the gas pedal instead of the break pedal.
I personally spoke to the driver of the Nissan vehicle and she said that she did not know how it happened.
Two minors and a white Maltese dog were passengers of the Nissan car. There were not victims, only material damage to both vehicles involved in the accident.
