Literacy Volunteers of Union County Celebrated Students and Tutors at Magazine Roll-Out

More than 100 adult students, tutors, friends and supporters of Literacy Volunteers of Union County gathered in celebration at the roll-out of “Connections Student Art and Literary Magazine” on June 6 in Westfield, NJ. Freeholders Alexander Mirabella and Bette Jane Kowalski were on hand for the festivities.

J Avenue Associates submitted the application.

The Union County Department of Parks and Community Renewal announces the opening of the county’s two public swimming pools. The Walter E. Ulrich Memorial Pool located in Rahway River Park, St. George’s Avenue in Rahway, will be open for the season from Saturday, June 23, through Labor Day, September 3.
