This fall Union County College’s Division of Continuing Education will offer an all new presidential series of classes just in time for the November election. These classes are open to the community and are not for credit. Employers traditionally use the post-Labor Day time frame as an opportunity to hire new staff after the summer vacations are over.  In light of a 9.8 percent state unemployment rate, companies are still promising a hiring increase this fall.
