The Elizabeth High School won the Guillian trophy as that is awarded to the number #1 Football team in New Jersey, however the Star Ledger isn’t recognizing them as number #1 as a result they’ve given that ranking to St. Joe’s (Montvale). Since the final Star Ledger 2012 football rankings come out tomorrow, the community at large decided to throw a rally set the record straight once and for all.

A month after Superstorm Sandy hit New Jersey, the best storytelling to come out of it may be the work of a 16-year-old Rumson girl named Charlotte Nagy. Watch Nagy’s 33-minute documentary, filled with images of shopkeepers boarding up, “bridge closed” signs, Scrabble games as her family waited out the storm and the river that filled the street between the Nagy home and their neighbors.
