Kean University Homecoming Follow-Up

UNION, N.J- On Saturday, October 6th, Kean University celebrated it’s homecoming in style with a wild fiesta in the Alumni Stadium parking lot and a decisive 58-7 football victory of Western Connecticut State University. Kean welcomed back alumni and family members of all ages who had fun with the games and enjoyed the variety of delicious snacks available.

Crowns were shining as Christa Diaz and Steven Barandica were named Homecoming Queen & King. Tina Van Voorhies won Kean Xpedition’s highly-anticpated “A Semester on Us” contest, winning free tuition for a semester, a $400 Barnes & Noble giftcard, a reserved parking spot and a brand-new Macbook Pro.

We caught up with the three proud Cougars and heard what they had to say about their victories.
