Elizabeth Board Of Education Political Group Targets Senator Lesniak

Elizabeth, NJ- Up date- Candidate slates have not chosen lines yet.
Senator Lesniak
is being targeted by the Board of Education of Elizabeth, while the new generation of Rafael Fajardo’s lineage makes her debut in politics.  Assemblyman Cryan and Assemblywoman Quijano run un-opposed.

Ms. Donna Obe, originally from Brooklyn, NY, is running for the State Senate seat against incumbent Senator Raymond Lesniak; long time resident of the City of Elizabeth.  She is part of the ticket supported by the political group in control of the Elizabeth Board of Education for over a decade.  Tony Monteiro, Elizabeth’s Board of Education chair, has publicly announced his decision not to include himself on the ballot in order to dedicate his time, exclusively, to retiring Sen. Lesniak’s 36-year-long career in public office.
